Manages the daily operation of the CIL of Northwest Florida.
Responsible for all phases of accounting, funding contracts, and overall administration of CILNWF.

Networks with people with disabilities as Independent Living Specialist and evaluates and conducts specialized telephone equipment assessments with consumers.

Gulf Coast Regional Center
Networks with people with disabilities, coordinates the Independent Living Skills Training Program and Volunteer Program and evaluates and conducts specialized telephone equipment assessments with consumers.
Coordinates and over sees all duties of the CILNWF mission in Okaloosa/Walton Counties.
Networks with people with disabilities, assists with the daily operation of the FAAST Gulf Coast Regional Demonstration Center.
Coordinates and oversees the Gulf Coast Regional FAAST Program contract deliverables and coordinates and consults on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as needed.

VISTA Marketing Specialist
Manages the equipment for the FAAST GCRDC loan program such as wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs and evaluates. Oversees the FTRI Program with inventory/distribution of specialized telephone equipment. Performs daily data entry into CIL consumer database. Provides quality assurance of consumer records.
Networks with people with disabilities and assists them with self-advocacy issues as well as systemic advocacy issues. Works with media, businesses, state and local government agencies, public officials and individuals on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Chapter 11 of the Florida Statutes as they relate to issues such as accessible parking, transportation, emergency preparedness, education, housing, and employment.
Enhance the existing CILNWF independent living programs through research and identification of new funding, including cash and value of cash resources through community partnerships. Responsible for increasing awareness of CILNWF through local collaborations and outreach and developing CILNWF sponsored or co-sponsored events related to the primary focus of Capacity Building.
Oversees and creates content for the Center’s key public platforms including: web and mobile sites, social media, newsletter, advertising, branding, digital media, and campaigns. Kayla also works on other collaborative projects with other members of the CILNWF team.
